In a nutshell, how would you describe your wedding day?
Everything we hoped for!
What was it about your wedding venue that made you choose it?
We loved everything from location to the view, surroundings, quality of the food and drinks. Also being one of our favourite wineries in a place that means a lot to the both of us.
Now that you’re married, what’s your best piece of wedding-planning advice you can share?
Do the best you can but be prepared that there is likely to be last-minute hiccups or stresses – remember in those situations that nobody else knows how you planned it exactly, and therefore to them it seems normal, so don’t work yourself up over those small things that don’t necessarily go to plan. Don’t take everything seriously and focus on what’s important at the end of the day.
If you had your time again, is there anything you’d do differently?
Followed up on things a bit more to ensure they were exactly what you had in mind. Don’t settle for something you aren’t 100% on in fear of seeming demanding, it is your wedding day after all.
Finish these sentences: My partner is…
Perfect for me.
The best thing we did at our wedding was…
Made every minute count.
We splurged on…
Food, drinks, flowers.
We saved on…
Anything we could.
