If you know anything about New Zealand, you know that it’s one of those places with landscapes that need to be seen to be believed. Even when you see them, they’re still unbelievable. And dotted throughout this magnificent land are dozens of spectacular, unique wedding venues. From rustic farmhouses to world class wineries, there’s something here for everyone (you included).

To celebrate, we’ve created a three-part series of our favourite NZ wedding venues that showcase everything this country has to offer – quality locally-sourced food, top notch tipples and scenic views that will rock your world. Enjoy.

 

Edgewater, Lake Wanaka

Want to host the ultimate adult sleepover? Edgewater has 103 guest rooms available, located directly on the shores of Lake Wanaka. There’s also tennis courts, biking, a day spa and a nine hole putting green available to guests. Heck, you can even land a helicopter here.

Fiordland Lodge, Te Anau

An exclusive retreat with uninterrupted views of Lake Te Anau, Fiordland Lodge is one unique NZ wedding venue that’s sure to make an impression. Set in a world heritage area, it can sleep up to 29 guests and comes equipped with a bar area, handmade furniture and extraordinary food and service.

Oneroa Bay Vineyards, Waiheke Island

This luxury home is the bomb diggity. It includes two large wrap around decks, an outside fireplace, a stunning state-of-the-art pool and spa and luxury accommodation for 16 guests. The weekend package also includes an on-the-day wedding coordinator.
