Ever wondered what a day in the life of a wedding stylist looks like? Spoiler: it’s not particularly glamorous. It’s sweaty, physical work and a logistical circus at times, with flowers and furniture being carted for kilometres. But for Sydney wedding stylists George & Smee, it’s their daily grind – and they love it.
Perhaps it’s because they’re more evolved than most humans when it comes to being simultaneously organised, creative and kind. Or because they get to be an important part of so many happy days. Whatever the reason, we’re glad they do what they do or we may never have seen an indoor forest quite like this one…
Captured by Milk and Honey Creative the brief was ‘hanging forest’ and George & Smee took it literally – carting in enough foliage to fill every inch of ceiling space at a Byron Bay barn. Some casual seating areas and elegantly styled tables were also added and a show-stopping neon ‘For Life’ sign was an impressive final touch. The result? The kind of wedding magic only tru pros can create.
