Right now, we’re feeling a little teary – in a good way. It could be the hormones (there’s a new Wedshed baby) or, more likely, it could just be this beautiful VIC styled shoot at The Riverstone Estate has that effect on people.
Set against the rolling green hills of the Yarra Valley, the idea was to create an intimate wedding that embraced the venue’s country surrounds while exuding a modern style. It came together at a time when every Melbourne wedding vendor was ready to dive head first into a creative project – right after lockdown – and it’s clear everyone involved in this VIC styled shoot including photographer Collections Photography, videographer Native Weddings and stylist Whole Lotta Love Creative went above and beyond to fill the brief.
To create a “laid back country meets modern summer romance” vibe, they opted for layered textural touches and a colour palette of lilac, latte and oatmeal using stationery by Paper Jean, ceramics from The Hire Co and florals by Dear Henri.
The bride, who was “married” to her man by celebrant Zee Scott, looked as perfectly put together as the rest of the shoot, wearing gowns by Moonstruck Bride and with hair and makeup by Hair by Marjorie Fair and Abby Perry Makeup Artist.
