This love story begins at a Sunshine Coast RSL club where Robyn and Whitney first met and ends at Yandina Station – the kind of ridiculous QLD farm wedding venue you see on blogs but can’t imagine it can possibly be that amazing IRL (it is).
After dating for several years, these ladies took it to the next level in Byron Bay during a rainy afternoon. They’d planned to share an afternoon tea of cheese, crackers and tea from the lighthouse, but the weather got in the way so they watched the storm roll over the hills onto the ocean from their beach house rental.
Robyn poured Whitney a cup of tea from an urn she’d prepared earlier and Whitney, noticing Robyn’s kind of intense focus on her, looked at the once-black mug and suddenly realised it had turned into a picture of her on one knee holding a sign that read ‘Will you marry me’. Robyn then produced an absolute sparkler from her pocket, Whitney managed a teary ‘YES’ and the rest of this gorgeous commitment is waiting for you to scroll down below and enjoy.
