Michael and Sarah’s relaxed, South Coast wedding focused on good music, love and letting the good times role. When asked about the theme for their wedding, bride Sarah tells us, “just to be relaxed and have a good time with family.” Sounds about right to us.
Hey Sarah! Tell us about how you met and the proposal.
We met on RSVP, and Michael proposed during a moonlight walk on the beach during the super moon.
What sort of vibe were you aiming to create for the day?
Just to be relaxed and have a good time with family. A real authentic, rustic feel to match the venue.
What was your favourite moment on the day?
For Michael, it was being pronounced husband and wife of course and also sharing his speech. For me, it was saying our vows, and the entertainment was awesome.
What advice would you give to other couples leading up to their big day?
Don’t stress too much. Things will always go wrong but it’s the way you handle it that will make all the difference.
What does marriage mean to you?
A lifetime commitment to a loving partnership. A chance to make our own family.
Ceremony song?
‘Canon in D’ by Pachelbel.
First dance song?
‘More than words’ by Extreme.
