Wedding Ceremony Locations:
There are countless locations to hold your wedding ceremony on the property grounds, in the gorgeous formal private gardens at Worrowing Homestead, or the Hay Shed for a rustic wet-weather ceremony option. Wedding receptions are held in ‘The Hereford Shed’ venue.
‘The Hereford Shed’ Wedding Reception Venue at Worrowing:
Originally a Poll Hereford cattle stable and sales yard, ‘The Hereford Shed’ is a high roofed timber and corrugated iron farm structure with polished concrete flooring and wide timber decking onto a large lawn and views of native bushland. The venue overlooks a private lake, rolling pastures and is surrounded by natural bushland and is a versatile space that can cater for large or intimate occasions. The Shed is positioned in a private location on the property with access to our wet-weather ceremony space ‘The Hay Shed’.
Accommodation:
Worrowing accommodates 41 guests in five styles of accommodation on the Estate. Having all of your guests together in one place for your special occasion will ensure your wedding will be a weekend you will never forget. Accommodation is required to be booked for a 2 night stay minimum.
Worrowing Jervis Bay is an independently owned accommodation business on the South Coast of NSW, just 2.5 hours drive south of Sydney. The Georgian style homestead was modeled on Old Erowal House built in 1840 and Worrowing is now one of the few existing rural properties in the Jervis Bay area.
Owners Adrian and Jenny Robertson designed and built the 12 cottages, wilderness huts and boatsheds situated on the property, with the aim of instilling the natural beauty of the property’s surrounds.
The estate has catered for many Jervis Bay events including art exhibitions and Natural Trust days. Over the years Worrowing has been worked as a poll Hereford stud and today maintains its rural atmosphere with cattle, horses, and the encouragement of the abundant native wildlife of Jervis Bay.
This venue is Wedshed approved This venue host is an official partner of Wedshed. Their venue information is up-to-date.
