Located just outside of the historic town of Bangalow, heritage-listed Hinterland House sits upon 20 lush acres, offering stunning vistas from the expansive wrap-around porch.

Built in the early 1900’s, the original home is timeless and luxurious, having been beautifully preserved, with soaring 14-foot ceilings original vine-covered archways, handcrafted stone-masonry and stain-glass windows still existing.

Able to accommodate 16 guests in the original house and two adjoining cottages, Hinterland House was made for special family occasions and can be booked for pre and post wedding celebrations – ideal for those who are travelling interstate or for those who just want to keep the festivities going.

The surrounding grounds have been meticulously kept, with an abundance of manicured lawns and gardens, as well as a working macadamia orchard on the homestead’s doorstep.

Mitch has been a local for over 6 years, and purchased Hinterland House with the view to transform the property into one of Byron Bays premier event venues. After a pain staking renovation and upgrade Hinterland House opened mid 2018. More recently Hinterland House has undergone a complete rebrand as well as an interior redesign with local design team at Bisque. The result is truly stunning.
