Inspired by the raw, exposed elegance of Olio Kensington St and its trademark windows, Sydney wedding stylists George & Smee created a dreamy tablescape that echoes the modern day wedding trend of simplicity and style.
Originally featured on The Lane, Sally of George & Smee tells us, “We used a selection of natural materials, sandstone, marble and travertine in both the tablescape and styling elements and kept the florals simple using only black and white tones.
The tableware we kept elegant and simple, with the natural tones reflected in the ceramics and modern black for the glasses and cutlery. We chose black roses and crisp white orchids to contrast with the rocks and create an almost art like installation down the table.”
Layers of loose fabric and raw hem napkins added even more want-to-touch textures to this earthy inspiration shoot. We’re looking forward to seeing more wedding styling of this kind throughout 2020 and beyond.
