One of the main perks of getting married at Byron Bay wedding venue The Belongil, is being able to create a reception like this. Put together by local vendors Bliss and Willow, By the Loving Gypsies, Leigh Williams, Spell & The Gypsy Collective and Rebellyous Cake Co, the team transformed this venue’s casual, open plan restaurant into a romantic hideaway, adorned with soft lighting, whimsical, apricot and blush-coloured florals and bohemian furnishings.
Even the smaller details were thoughtfully mapped out – the marble place cards, the gold cutlery and the crystal glassware (to name but a few) all added to the ambience.
Captured by photographer Emma Wise and videographer Mos & Co (hit play on the film at the end), this unique NSW wedding venue is also in close proximity to some amazing photo and ceremony locations. Walk across the road and you’re at one of the East Coast’s most beautiful stretches of sand. When people talk about wedding goals, we figure this is it.
