If you’re a city dweller, this Blue Mountains wedding venue will make you want to pack a bag, move bush and never return. In summer, the air here is crisp and clean, the juicy green lawns means shoes are often an afterthought and the facilities, which includes a purpose-built wedding barn, are five-star. Plus, there are two magazine-worthy dwellings on the property that can sleep up to 20 guests.

Waldara, as this magical place is affectionately known, was the backdrop of our first winter wedding campaign and today we’re sharing their latest summer inspiration. Captured by Ona Janzen of Whspr Studio and brought to life by the wonderful minds behind Engaged Creative alongside Penny Lane Studio, Botanica Bird and Hair & Makeup by Tania, it’s an entrée-sized taste of what’s possible here.

Some ideas you’ll see below include a gorgeous outdoor ceremony, a recovery party (featuring The Airstream Social and The Gelato Bike) and an intimate long lunch. Basically all the things that make Waldara and destination weddings so damn good.
