We’re instantly charmed by a bit of history and anyone looking to find a one-of-a-kind wedding venue with a past should make a beeline to Craigie Knowe Vineyard – a charming Tasmanian wedding venue and the oldest winery on the east coast of Tassie.
The first vines were planted here in 1979 and owners Sandy, Glenn and their son Alex continue to grow the same varieties (namely Cab Sav, Pinot and Riesling) as homage to the original landowner’s passion and hard work.
Recently, they’ve opened up their historic cellar door to weddings. To celebrate, a handful of the region’s most talented wedding vendors teamed up to create a beautiful styled shoot.
“We wanted to showcase the vineyard, property and barn in a modern way – for the modern bride, who is looking for a very relaxed, natural environment for their special day”, says stylist and planner Lisa of Artaud & Co. – one of our much-loved WedShed recommended vendors.
Captured by wedding photographer Rosie Hastie and with flowers by The Romantics, it’s a stunning example of the kind of magic that can be created when clever people come together in an amazing space.
