Sitting pretty just minutes outside of Byron Bay’s bustling town centre, Three Blue Ducks is a locally-owned and run farm cafe set on 80 acres of lush countryside. Brimming with country-coastal charm, it’s an ideal spot for couples looking to create a rustic style wedding with their nearest and dearest.
Nestled amongst the real working farm with views across to Mt Warning and Byron Lighthouse, the cafe has an incredible, large industrial interior that can easily host long table feasts. Not to mention, space for a cracking dance floor.
Outside, a sheltered deck and paved area allow for guests to seamlessly flow in and out and make the most of Byron’s warm evenings.
Three Blue Ducks was brought to life by a couple of food-loving friends who wanted to create a more sustainable and ethical way of living (and eating!).
Their philosophy is simple, with all produce being made in-house or sourced from sustainable suppliers. The coffee is fair trade, the eggs are organic, the beef is grass fed and even the cleaning products are environmentally friendly.
The menu, created by first-class chefs Mark and Darren (previously Tetsuyas head chef) includes things like slow cooked beef brisket, local line-caught fish and cinnamon verbena panacotta, while the on-site bar boasts a killer selection of beer, wine, spirits and cocktails.
Three Blue Ducks however, is more than just a café serving fine food and top-notch coffee. It’s a local institution where friends and families come to wander around, play cricket, listen to live music, gather around a barbecue or have a picnic with a hamper from the Produce Store.
It’s a positive, unpretentious place where everyone’s invited and encouraged to stay as long as they like.
