We've seen a lot of real weddings (we're talking five-digit figures) so it's rare when one lands in our lap that we can't stop talking about. But Nicolas and Georgina's NSW wedding at Mimosa Wines immediately stole our hearts and has refused to let them go. Here's why...

  • Nicholas walked both his parents down the aisle (grooms-to-be, can we please see more of this?!).
  • They chose an epic venue renowned for it's exquisite food and beverages (we can vouch from firsthand experience that it is very, very good).
  • Georgina pulled off one of the best wedding pranks we've seen (remember, weddings can be stressful but a good sense of humour goes a long way in keeping the mood light).
  • They had one of the best wedding party entrances we've ever seen. So. Much. Fun!
  • Also, the cake.

How did you and Nicolas meet? Through a friend when we were 17 and 19 years old! (nine years ago).

The venue: Mimosa Wines - why wouldn’t we?! Absolutely stunning, really relaxed wedding planning vibe and super flexible around what we wanted! Able to do everything to such a high quality (so no food or drink vendors were required) we didn’t have a wedding planner or stylist either. Super helpful and went above and beyond to accommodate us.

The vibe: Big party - we are talking shots, drinks, laughs, childish and informal take on a modern Aussie wedding.

Expectations vs. reality: Everything just fell together in the weeks leading up to the wedding to be honest! We just trusted our vendors and venue!
