REAL WEDDING: Rhianon + Daniel - Rowlee Wines
Rhianon and Daniel's romance began with a chance encounter on the other side of the world, but their wedding took place back home in Australia, with a beautiful celebration at Rowlee Wines - one of the dreamiest wedding venues in NSW.
Real Weddings
REAL WEDDING: Tiarne + Brandon – BoxGrove
Country weddings used to conjure up images of hessian table runners and guests dancing The Nutbush. Now, couples like Tiarne and Brandon are putting a more modern spin on things by bringing a bit of fancy to some of the most beautiful country NSW wedding venues.
Real Weddings
REAL WEDDING: Casey + Matt – Skimstone Wines
Casey and Matt’s Mudgee wedding shone a light on everything that’s good about this popular winemaking region: breathtaking scenery, exceptionally good fermented grapes and unique venues that serve up good old country hospitality in spades. Mudgee, you have our heart.
Real Weddings
REAL WEDDING: Sarah + Jason – Seacliff House
From now on, whenever we talk about kicking wedding goals, we’ll be pointing at Sarah and Jason. This couple (alongside some very gifted vendors) created a south coast wedding that was a total vibe. Cocktails, a cake the size of a small bath, a killer venue and an epic surprise for all their guests, this day had it all.
Real Weddings
REAL WEDDING: Georgie + Tom – Mimosa Wines
If you need some guidance on how to plan an epic celebration, look no further than Georgie and Tom’s far south coast wedding. With a standout team of vendors, a spectacular venue and plenty of good vibes, this one belongs on everybody’s Pinterest board.
Real Weddings
ELOPEMENT: Josie + Tim – Kimpton Margot Sydney
Both musicians, Josie and Tim discovered pretty quickly that they shared more than just a love of music. Their spark was obvious and after years of playing gigs at other people’s weddings, they decided it was their turn to play the bride and groom. Their intimate Sydney elopement was elegant, heartfelt and very much them. Check it out.
Real Weddings
REAL WEDDING: Jaytika + Fergus – Holy Red Deer Estate
This QLD wedding was a day full of love, laughter and prickles (the price of a good shot and an outdoor picnic). It was also an epic party, with a good dance floor being a top priority for this music-loving couple (who happened to meet at a music festival). Check it out.
Real Weddings
REAL WEDDING: Georgia + Sam – Camperdown Commons
Eleven years of dating and a baby later, Georgia and Sam tied the knot in a way that was all their own. There wasn’t a whiff of outdated traditions or things they did “just because”. Instead, their Sydney wedding involved plenty of booze, a short and sweet ceremony and a surprise sing-a-long.
Real Weddings
REAL WEDDING: Blaze + David – Hillview Homestead
Cocktails, live music and enough flowers to sink a small ship – this Gold Coast hinterland wedding had all the parts to create an unforgettable “boozy long-lunch”.
Real Weddings
REAL WEDDING: Keeley + Joshua – Shoal Bay Country Club
Keeley and Joshua couldn’t have wished for a better day. Shoal Bay Country Club provided a perfect backdrop for their NSW coastal wedding and indoor fireworks and a DJ delivered plenty of party vibes.
Real Weddings
REAL WEDDING: Angela + Todd – The Calile Hotel
To maximise their time with guests, this pair chose a chic Brisbane wedding venue with everything they needed on-site (smart move). And to make their day that little bit ‘extra’ they included a band, live couple drawings and cocktails. It was a real vibe and photographer Renee Green captured it oh so perfectly.
Real Weddings
REAL WEDDING: Jemima + Chad – The Macquarie Club Dubbo
What happens when an art teacher living in rural NSW plans her wedding? Bold colour, textures, throwing tradition to the wind and bucket loads of love. Throw in a bloody cute bub, your bestie walking you down the aisle and trading barefoot bowls for disco balls, you have a pretty memorable day.
Real Weddings
REAL WEDDING: Jake + Georgie – The Studio
‘Urban romance’ was the vibe for the day and we think Jake and Georgie’s wedding at The Studio was exactly that. Walking down the aisle together into a room full of love and their favourite people was one of those unforgettable moments that will be etched into the brains for years to come. Blaise Bell’s raw talent captured the feels perfectly with candid, intimate photos. A real feast for your eyes, enjoy!
Real Weddings
REAL WEDDING: Josie + Tom – Fitzroy Gardens
Josie and Tom’s intimate Melbourne elopement was a day filled with all the things they love to do. Spending time with their sausage dogs, strolling the streets of Melbourne and washing it all down with generous scoops of ice cream. They nailed the “just us two” celebration and their friends and family couldn’t be more thrilled with an extra special surprise shared as the day ended.
Real Weddings
REAL WEDDING: Jami + Nakul – Vaucluse House
Jami and Nakul wanted to create a relaxed, love-filled day that incorporated both of their cultures. Safe to say, they nailed it and in one of Sydney’s most beautiful wedding venues too.
Real Weddings
REAL WEDDING: Qamrun + Liam – Dark Horse Vineyard
Warm, autumnal tones set against an otherwise all-white backdrop created a simple yet stunning setting for this pair’s Hunter Valley wedding.
Real Weddings
REAL WEDDING: Jenaya + Stefan – Private Property
It’s hard to beat a boozy backyard wedding – especially one as well planned and beautifully styled as this VIC wedding. Check it out.
Real Weddings
REAL WEDDING: Georgia + Kyle – Zephyr Charters
Being busy with a new business and not particularly fond of too much “fluff”, Georgia and Kyle chose to host a low-key, intimate Sydney wedding on the water.
Real Weddings
REAL WEDDING: Chris + Tara – Parlour
Aside from wanting guests to have a “damn good time”, Chris and Tara also wanted to put their own stamp on their Canberra wedding by doing things like writing their own vows and substituting a flower girl for a flower groomsmen and a page boy for a page poodle.
Real Weddings
REAL WEDDING: Georgia + Kayla – Woodburn Homestead
Georgia and Kayla couldn’t decide whether to have a cocktail or sit-down wedding, so they found a way to include both. It was quite the event, only made possible they say, by a team of incredible SA wedding vendors. Check it out.
Real Weddings
REAL WEDDING: Sarah + Dave – Vintners Bar and Grill
A stunning location, good food, plenty of drink and one very adorable dog. This intimate Barossa Valley ticked all the right boxes.
Real Weddings
REAL WEDDING: Suzie + Russell – Spring Bay Mill
A unique waterfront venue and some innovative non-traditions made this Tasmanian wedding an absolute knockout.
Real Weddings
REAL WEDDING: Parisa + Zach – Churchill
Since an overseas wedding was off the cards (cheers, Rona) Parisa and Zach created their own Tuscan-inspired weekend at a stunning venue just outside of Melbourne with alfresco dining, citrus scented everything and live music. It was a vibe.
Real Weddings
REAL WEDDING: Anisse + Paddy – The Barn at Leeston
After the pandemic forced this pair to cut their guest list by 100, they thought “stuff it” and went all out with oysters, cocktails, a champagne tower, flowers (and more flowers), and a five-piece band. The result? A seriously epic event.
