VENUE ROUND-UP: Best pet-friendly venues

If you’re anything like some of our team, you’ve always loved your pet like a child and would never dream of getting hitched without them by your side. While not all venues understand this unbreakable animal/human bond (and admittedly some have very legit reasons for not welcoming pets), we’ve got a collection of cool cats (pun very intended) that can welcome your hairiest, stinkiest, drooliest – even poopiest – loved ones.

Glenrock Farm

Gold Coast, QLD

We love the idea of stepping back in time, when the world was a little less confusing and everything was built to last. Glenrock Farm is a little bit of history that has recently opened its doors to engaged couples (and their pets). One of the region’s first dairy farms, it’s located just minutes from the beach and features a century-old barn that seats 130 guests.

Growwild Wildflower Farm

Southern Highlands, NSW

If exchanging vows with your beloved pet by your side is a non-negotiable (we get it) then consider getting hitched at this stunning Southern Highlands wedding venue. Aside from being painfully pretty (it is a working flower farm after all), your furriest friends are most welcome here and there's plenty of flexibility when it comes to how you want to wed.

Perhaps it's in the permanent, fully timber floored marquee (with an additional timber dance floor and quirky bar), or in the barn with its character-filled interiors and outdoor patio. With 25-acres and various indoor and outdoor options, there's a space to suit every style of celebration. It's also wheelchair accessible and BYO.
