Central Victoria is home to some of Australia’s best winery wedding venues, as well as some of the state’s best wedding vendors. To showcase their creative talents and to celebrate country weddings, Betty May Vintage Hire (an amazing co. that collects and lends out only authentic mixed and matched vintage and antique-wear) and local photographer Jess White assembled a team for this styled shoot – a raw and refined picnic x high tea scene in a private vineyard on the outskirts of Bendigo.
Of the inspiration for the setting, Erin from Betty May Vintage Hire tells us, “The palette was inspired by the vineyard’s latest rosé ‘Don’t Fence Me In’ and the ever growing popularity of the picnic. But we wanted to give the humble picnic a lift; a refined edge with plenty of beautiful and rich vintage details for a casual elegance.”
Inspired by wine? It was always going to be one we liked in that case. The shoot features our current fave colour combo – muted pinks and peaches paired with red so vivid it’s almost neon. Enjoy.
