A modern, architecturally designed home with stunning breath taking sea views. This property definitely has the WOW factor, offering a side of Waiheke Island not often seen. It is located at the Eastern end of the Island, a 35 min drive from the Matiatia ferry.
A beautiful location for weddings offering a ceremony site beside an infinity pool, covered walkway around the house to serve canapés and champagne and an inside reception area that can seat up to 120 guests amongst pillars and large open windows.

This venue does not require a marquee.

Comfortable seating for up to 80 pax or 130 pax including the balcony, for a formal sit down meal and can accommodate 100- 150 pax stand up cocktail style.

Waikopou was designed and built around 10 years ago to fit seamlessly into the surrounding landscape. Made from the surrounding earth the house has a sleek modern aesthetic but retains the rustic and natural material of the land. The panoramic views are to die for and the house is the canvas on which we make your wedding dreams come true.

All our private homes here on Waiheke Island are rented with a wedding coordinator. Someone who will work directly with you, that can take care of any request or special moment that you may want so that your day can be stress free and of course we know the things that maybe you hadn’t thought of to make your day flow perfectly.

Michelle Gras, the director of Waiheke Island Weddings and Events comes from a fashion background, managing design rooms in London, New York and Australia; working on London, New York and Paris Fashion shows means you will be in the hands of a someone who has the right temperament, creative and organizational skills, able to handle all types of situations and personalities.
