Locally owned and operated, the original Three Blue Ducks was located in the beachside suburb of Bronte in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs. Originally dreamed up during a surf trip in Morocco, Bronte locals Mark LaBrooy, Chris Sorrell and Sam Reid-Boquist were looking for a better, more sustainable approach to living that incorporated good ethical food. They soon teamed up with Jeff Bennett, another local business owner, Darren Robertson who had just finished up as head chef at Tetsuyas and Andy Allen, 2012 winner of MasterChef.
Since opening their flagship Three Blue Ducks restaurant in Bronte, they have opened an authentic and relaxed range of dining venues in Byron Bay, Rosebery, Brisbane, Melbourne and Nimbo championing the Ducks ethos of providing a template for good living through ethically produced and sourced food that is fresh, wholesome and prepared with consideration for the environment.
