Templewood House

Templewood House is a turn of the century country lodge with endless photo opportunities within the stunning Adelaide Hills equestrian property situated on the edge of the Millbrook Reservoir Reserve.

Be mesmerised by the natural beauty of the property from the minute you arrive with the stately driveway, ancient gums, beautiful gardens and lawns with incredible 360 sunset views from the High Paddock. You’ll see gorgeous horses at every corner as the property is also home to Templewood Horse Riding Centre. As an optional extra you have the opportunity to include a Templewood Stud Horse for arrival and photography.

Facilities available
Templewood House has a licensed bar or you can provide your own drinks to be served by the Templewood team. Our facilities include a commercial kitchen, plenty of bathrooms and a large airconditioned drawing room with high ceilings and open fireplaces. It’s ideal for ceremonies in inclement weather and is adjoined by the front veranda which looks out over the manicured grounds but is also fully enclosable.

Enjoy the serene Templewood House with exclusive use of the lawns and gardens with an incredible backdrop of native gums and rolling hills. There is also a classic English gazebo enclosed in a lush green garden perfect for ceremonies or signing documentation.

Catered to you
Templewood House can accommodate up to 120 guests with lots of options for personalising your day. Packages are available for intimate elopements, ceremony only hire or exclusive venue hire for the ceremony, reception and accommodation. Templewood House allows you to provide your own catering and BYO drinks which is complemented by use of our existing facilities of commercial kitchen, plenty of bathrooms, good access to power and water and a fully equipped bar and cool room.

Accommodation onsite
Templewood House also has the convenience of onsite accommodation for up to 8 guests. The four double rooms are located upstairs, each with an en-suite bathroom and independent air conditioning.

Templewood has been owned and operated by the Kalleske family since 1970. It is a 200 acre property situated on the edge of the Millbrook Reservoir Reserve amongst some of the prettiest and most accessible parts of the Adelaide Hills. Just thirty five minutes from the CBD and only fifteen minutes from Tea Tree Plaza. Templewood is home to Templewood House, accommodation and events, and Templewood Horse Riding Centre, a school for riders of all ages and skill levels.
