Located on The Liverpool Plains, 90km south-west of Tamworth and just four hours drive from Sydney, “Springfield” is a fully functioning cropping and cattle property that has been farmed by The Hockey family since 1947; and is currently operated by brothers, James and Michael.
In 2016, Michael Hockey, with his wife Laura, restored The Springfield Woolshed for their own wedding. Together, with their daughter Willow, they live and work at Springfield. Over the past few years they’ve hosted a few events at Springfield Woolshed, requested by friends within the local community. They couldn’t watch this beautiful space sit vacant, so have chosen to share it with other couples, businesses and communities who are looking for a private and versatile venue to hold an event.
This venue is Wedshed approved This venue host is an official partner of Wedshed. Their venue information is up-to-date.
