Ready to ditch the wedding planning stress? Well, you’re in luck! Welcome to Pioneer Country, a private country estate with its own chapel, rolling lawns that is conveniently located only 10 minutes from the beach and accommodation.
Our property has been in the family for more than 100 years. It's a 170 hectare private estate where heart is at the centre of everything we do - from hosting gorgeous, truly personal weddings, to running our cattle farm.
We’re here to handle all the nitty-gritty details — from schedules to scrumptious eats and stunning decor. You'll love our farm sized portions, in-house paddock to plate menu and our midnight liquor license.

Howdy,
I’m Sarah, your in-house wedding curator here at Pioneer Country. A pleasure to meet you!
Our roots run deep here. The Sullivan family has been tending to this farm since 1892, and we’ve been in the hospitality game since ’76 when we opened up the Smokehouse Steakhouse right on the property. And, fun fact, our chapel was actually built back in ’94 for my wedding to a fella called Bruce from Yorkshire.
