Howqua Lodge

Howqua Lodge is located 20 minutes from Mansfield in Victoria’s High Country and offers a spacious, private, rustic setting for your special occasion.

We provide a relaxed wedding venue with stunning views, in addition to offering group accommodation in The Stables.

Your wedding ceremony, photos and reception can all be held on our property overlooking the picturesque Howqua Valley.

Our reception area, The Shed, is a large, flexible space filled with festoon and fairy lights, perfect for either a catered sit-down dinner or a casual food truck experience. There is a food servery area, bar and dancefloor. Furniture is provided - a combination of timber slab tables and timber trestle tables, with plenty of vintage timber chairs available and the option to hire hay bales for casual seating. Wine barrels and market umbrellas are also available and guests can enjoy the warmth of the fire pits as the evening wears on. The Shed can be customised with floral decorations, fabric, furniture or anything that adds your personal touch to the day’s activities.

The Stables have been converted to provide comfortable accommodation for 18 people in a combination of double, single and bunk beds.

The Howqua Lodge Wedding Package covers the hiring of all facilities (The Shed & The Stables) and accommodation for 2 nights. Please contact us for further information.

Howqua Lodge is privately owned by Simon and Sophie and their family who live full-time on the property. Sophie has many years of wedding and event experience, and Simon has a long-term farming and small business background. We value great communication and customer service - our aim is for you and your guests to have a relaxed and happy experience here. We love the peaceful setting, abundant wildlife and changing seasons in the Howqua Valley and enjoy sharing this tranquil place with visitors.
