Barunah is the oldest property in the area, the homestead was built in 1866. The homestead and its grounds are the perfect spot for your wedding service followed by drinks on the perfectly manicured croquet lawns.
The property has many locations to hold your wedding reception you can decide what suits you best. The marquee on the lawn looking back at the rock wall, creek, and the homestead or in the beautiful old shearing shed. The only limit is your imagination.

The homestead at Barunah Plains dates back to 1844. With 10 bedrooms invite your guests to stay for the weekend. Make use of the pool area and relax in the days leading up to your wedding. Formal sitting and dining rooms, the ball room and billiards room the homestead has space for everyone. Sleeping up to 22 people.
The Shearer’s Quarters sleeps 40 people in 16 rooms. With a large commercial kitchen and dining room, it’s the perfect spot for some of your closest guests to stay or hold a recovery the next day.
Located 30min from Geelong and 10 minutes to Inverleigh it’s easy to run buses to the hotels in Geelong or to the coast.
