It’s no secret that Australia is home to some of the world’s most spectacular beaches and coastlines – in fact it’s kinda what we’re known for. That and riding kangaroos to school.
So it’s no surprise that beach wedding venues are a popular choice for couples looking to tie the knot somewhere special. Here, we’re sharing a few of our faves.
Seacliff House Gerringong
A place that comfortably belongs on the covers of glossy magazines, Seacliff House has everything you’d expect from a luxury retreat, minus the price tag. Set on five acres and with 260 degree ocean views, this coastal wedding venue will happily host up to 150 guests.

The Shorehouse
Perth’s take on a Miami beach club, The Shorehouse is a playful, relaxing beach wedding venue with plenty to offer. With modern furnishings and an entire events team on hand, it’s a welcome alternative to traditional wedding venues.

Pilu at Freshwater
Just around the corner from Sydney’s iconic Manly beach is Pilu at Freshwater – an award-winning, Sardinian restaurant that overlooks Freshwater beach. The recently redecorated reception space can cater for 110 guests and the terrace garden is ideal for post-ceremony drinks.

Novotel Twin Waters Resort
Imagine your dream beach wedding venue, times it by ten and you’re close to the Novotel Twin Waters Resort. Everything you could ever need is right here, including luxury accommodation, a private lagoon, beautifully landscaped outdoor areas and amazing food and service.

Villa Botanica
This very tropical, Balinese-inspired space has become a temple of sorts – paying homage to the richness of colour and texture so commonly found in places of importance. There are a bunch of different ceremony and reception spots and hundreds of different plants and flowers throughout making it a very unique space.

Beachside Dojo
Sitting sexy at the north end of Manly beach, Beachside Dojo combines delicious Asian dishes with unrivalled ocean views. Perfect for both intimate and large-scale receptions, the rooftop space has a luxe bohemian feel that doesn’t need much dressing.

Earlando
Living in Sydney (or any other big city), it’s hard to wrap your head around a place like Earlando – a pristine beach wedding venue with no maximum capacity, complete privacy and 6,500 acres of unspoilt land.

Pullman Bunker Bay Resort
Unlike a lot of large beach wedding resorts, this one doesn’t offer a one-size-fits-all package. Quite the opposite, actually. Their approach is to create personalised solutions so that you can take advantage of all the other perks (like the five star accommodation) without having to compromise on your wedding.

Moby Dicks Whale Beach
When it comes to beach wedding venues, this place knows its sh*t. They’ve been in the coastal wedding business long enough to know that really good food, styling and arguably the best arancini balls going round will put a smile on anyone’s dial.
